“Hey dudes,
This installment of my Rock of Ages blog contains brief video clips of me rocking Rock of Ages which are taken from my ROA blog 11. I’ve been super busy writing music, practicing vocals/gtr, listening to my favorite records so yeah…………… I didn’t have time to upload new videos.
On top of rocking Rock of Ages, I’m working hard on writng an album for my original music project called Dead Original www.deadoriginalmusic.com
My plans for Dead Original are to release an album and to tour in 2014 to support the record. What is Dead Original about? It’s about trying to bridge the gap from the 90’s. I feel there’s been a lot of nameless acts since the 90’s. I’m currently trying to create a project with songs that are recognizable and iconic in instrumentation for the sake of music not chops or education and certainly not pop shit. People wrote shit back in the day about shit, they wrote REAL songs and they played their instruments. What I’ve release online thus far is only a sample of what’s to come. I’ve been working very hard on my craft of vocals and guitar and songwriting. I’ve been praying to the Rock Gods to give me approval and to help me move in the right direction. I need all the help I can get.
I also just got a gig to write drum parts for a Broadway running show, so to say that I’m multi-tasking would be short of words.

What the H### am I doing whilst all this madness?
I’m writing a f##### rock album where I play guitar and sing. Plans are to start a scene in Chicago and then take over the world and sh#t. Typical rock 101 plans/agenda kinda mind set/stuff.
I’m broke doing what I love and I come from a small town. Actually I wouldn’t be broke if I didn’t go to music school, but if I didn’t go to music school then I wouldn’t be doing what I love. Music School didn’t give me a gig but it did give me the foundation of basic music knowledge both that’s transpired to live performance and most importantly songwriting. I have been lucky to travel the world as a drummer having been to over 45 countries, it’s this traveling that has made me become a different person. I wanna share my experiences via song via rock n roll.
The following videos are what I wrote and produced last year. I’ve been taking vocal lessons and shedding the krap out of guitar, let’s just say the album is gonna kicka## and yeah there’s gonna be real drums and no “sound” replacement; REAL LIVE DRUMS if that even matters.
