P@ulE’s ROCK OF AGES BLOG day 2

Rock of Ages Day 2: P@ulE does a read thru with the cast

We did a read thru and I used a chair for the drum set, which to me was a whole new meaning to the meaning of “musical” chair and hey maybe I can get a new sponsor from this so I can be like, “I’d like to thank my chair sponsor so and so for delivering such quality musical chariness.” but I guess that’s more of a dream right now, but maybe some day maybe………………..

Everyone said good job, like they’ve never seen someone play a chair with so much passion, but who wouldn’t it’s for Rock of Ages man; c’mon you gotta rock out man; seriously.

I had lunch with director Kristin Hanggi who is an American theatre director that was nominated for the 2009 Tony Award for Best Direction for her Broadway debut and I told her about my original music and showed her my song Never Come Back. I even told her that I want to take over the world, and that I want to save rock. Not sure if it was a bad move or good one, but we did have a killer lunch but she did agree on my thoughts on the state of the industry in regard to the state of “Rock” so that was a good thing.

Later, a few of us went out and had dinner then we went shopping after dinner.
