Hey dude’s and dude-ets this is my personal blog called Confessions of A Rocker a place of angst, sadness, brooding-ness, humor all caused by the trials and tribulations of being an aspiring rocker (that’s me). I’ve been to over 45 countries as a work for hire musician, I’ve toured with bands one including Kill Hannnah during a tour with The Smashing Pumpkins, and I recently drummed for this musical called Rock of Ages. Anyway, I’ve started a band in Chicago called Dead Original www.deadoriginalmusic.com and it’s a band about staying in it’s truest form by having original unfiltered rock. Confessions of A Rocker- Getting yelled at is a GREAT THING

Good morning online dwellers! This is my 1st installment of “Confessions of a Rocker” my own personal blog on my site. The topic………..”GETTING YELLED AT IS A GREAT THING”
TWO MAIN POINTS:
I get yelled at a lot and it’s a great thing, I mean I just had a revelation that it truly is a blessing in disguise, as it forces me to do stuff and have positive outcomes.
Point 1:
This morning I got yelled at to wake up by my beautiful pre-wife.
con-waking up at 5am when you were writing till 2am is not cool
pro- dude I have a woman in my life that loves me and sh#t, how badass! And we went for a walk, what better way to start your day?
Point 2:
I keep getting texts from the band, what ware doing, when’s this and when’s that and I’m like sh#t……………….
con-a lot of messaging
pro- dude like how awesome? the band forces each other to have a greater output of material and happenings if we keep yelling at each other.
SO case in point, EMBRACE your loved ones who yell at you!
BTW Our song Never Come Back was inspired by my pre-wife yelling at me, Never Come Back unless you love me when I left for a tour in 2012.
