P@ulE says hello from his hotel in Tampa, Florida, talks about his recording gear and his original music project Dead Original.
On top of learning my drum parts, I’ve been songwriting like a maniac. Plans are to have an albums worth of material by the end of this run, not that anyone listens to albums anymore but all of them will be singles. I already have 90 song ideas written since 2010 but I’ll be amping up my guitar and vocals over the course of 6 months by reviewing tons and tons of great hit songs by previous rock GODS analyzing killer melodies, solos and more.
I simply want to take over the world and it starts now. I’m simply a drummer going singer/songwriter and the transition is getting smoother and smoother (well I hope). Writing is very easy for me, cause I’m a crazy person I guess but it’s all a matter of time before I release my madness. So far, what’s been released is only a fragment of what is to come, it’s simply demo stuff to let my circle of people know that I’m serious about this.
